The Masque of the Red Death (1964)

While the plague rages outside in a small Italian province, a Satan-worshipping prince stays confined to the sactuary of his castle with his aristocratic guests. Inside, all is revelry and cruelty until, during the great masque which crowns the prince's entertainment, the "Red Death" enters the dance and the guests sucumb to the plague... one by one. Based on the classic tale by Edgar Allan Poe.
